Students will continue to build and program VEX IQ’s intelligent brick based on the ARM processor, using smart motors, gyroscope, ultrasonic and color sensors, touch LEDs and bumpers, and remote controls. Students learn how to organize data, develop algorithms and draw flowcharts using steps of the Top-Down Modular programming method. Complex machines as well as different robotic builds will be included in the curriculum. Learners must have easy access to a computer at home and be able to download and install software (free) pertinent to the requirements of the classes. Grades 5 to 8.
